In order to give proper and accurate treatment to your animal's behavior problem, we must first characterize the problem into a clear diagnosis, rate its severity, and assess the degree of improvement expected.
The first diagnosis appointment will take pkace at the clinic, in a video session or in some cases on a home visit.
Prior to the meeting, fill out the contact form with which we can get a general background on the problem. When you have completed the form, send it to us and we will contact you by phone.
After setting the date for the meeting, we will send you a questionnaire to complete the details. In some cases, you will be asked to attach and send your dog or cat's medical file. Some behavioral problems are caused or affect various health conditions, and this information is essential both for the purpose of diagnosis and for the purpose of providing tailored, accurate and safe treatment.
In the session itself - which lasts about an hour and a half - the first half is devoted to the clarification process and to watching the animal. After reaching a diagnosis, you will receive a detailed explanation about it as well as an explanation of the course of treatment of the problem.
At the end of the session you will receive precise instructions for starting treatment, whether it includes environmental and behavioral intervention and/or medication.
The treatment process itself includes a number of sessions that take place once every few weeks, the purpose of which is to assess the progress of the cat or dog from the previous session to the current session and accordingly give you instructions to continue treatment until the problem is resolved or until the condition stabilizes.
The cost of the diagnostic session is 950 NIS, the cost of follow-up sessions is 500 NIS .
If the need for medication is found, you will be asked to perform general blood tests and additional tests in the clinic that treats them, depending on the findings.
