VETBC – Where Medicine and Behavior Meet!​

אנחנו ד”ר נועה הראל וד”ר תמר עמית – וטרינריות פסיכיאטריות של בעלי חיים ושותפות לדרך מקצועית של עשרות שנים ברפואה התנהגותית.

אנחנו מטפלות בכלבים וחתולים עם בעיות התנהגות מורכבות – מהתפרצויות תוקפנות ועד לחרדות עמוקות – ומחזירות שקט, הבנה ותקווה למשפחות שנשחקו מהתמודדות יומיומית.

בין שתינו אנחנו מביאות לטיפול מעל 40 שנות ניסיון קליני, התמחות רשמית, הוראה אקדמית, מחקר ואלפי מקרים שהופנו אלינו מוטרינרים ומאלפים שסומכים עלינו לטפל בבעיות הקשות האלה,  כשהשיטות הרגילות לא עבדו.

אנחנו לא מתקנות כלבים – אנחנו עוזרות לבנות מחדש את הקשר בין כלב לאדם. בעזרת כלים רפואיים, התנהגותיים ורגשיים – אנחנו פותחות מחדש את האפשרות לשותפות אמיתית, בלי פחד.

הגישה שלנו נשענת על עיקרון פשוט: שינוי לא נולד מכוח. הוא נולד מהבנה.

Graduate of the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine, Hebrew University, class of 2007. In 2000, she graduated with a BSc in Computer Science. After graduation she worked as a programmer and then decided to fulfill a childhood dream and make a transition to veterinary medicine.

In 2007, she completed her veterinary studies and began working at the Herzliya Veterinary Hospital in the Emergency and Medical Department. In 2015 she completed a certification study from the European ESVPS in Behavioral Medicine of Animals and has since engaged in the field of Behavioral Medicine in combination with Emergency Medicine and General Medicine.

Dr. Noa Harel DVM,

Pet Behavioral Medicine Specialist

Graduated from the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine at the Hebrew University since 1994.
Engaged in behavioral medicine since 1996 following an externship program at Cornell University's Veterinary School in New York.
Since 1997, she has been a lecturer at the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine and coordinator of behavioral medicine courses. In addition, she has lectured at Israeli and international conferences on behavioral veterinary medicine, and in various settings in Israel such as IPS, Ministry of Environmental Protection, youth villages, continuing education for veterinarians, and more.

In 2018, after the Ministry of Agriculture recognized the field of behavioral medicine as an official field of expertise in Israel, it received the title of expert in the behavioral medicine of small pets - for the first time in Israel.
